Ruth, originally from Graz, Austria, is a second-year student pursuing a degree in Economics at The University of Leeds in the UK, with an expected graduation year of 2025. During the summer of 2023, she is working as a summer intern at the Bank of America and within private banking at Julius Bär.

Apart from her current role, Ruth serves as the Chairperson for the Leeds Women in Leadership Society. She attained this position after successfully organizing the largest student-led women's conference in the UK and leading the campaign that secured the title of Best Women's Society of the Year in the United Kingdom. Currently, she also leads the WSABounce flagship initiative for The Women's Societies Alliance. In her free time, she enjoys solo traveling and loves to play the violin.
