Michael Legesse

Michael, a senior at Duke University studying Economics with a concentration in Finance. During his Junior Year, he embarked on an enriching journey at the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Throughout his time at Duke, Michael has actively engaged in the Duke Financial Economics Center, expanding his knowledge of the financial world. He also serves as the President of the Black in Business Society, championing diversity within the industry.

During his first year Michael interned at Sixth Street Partners, focusing on special situations investing. He further honed his skills at Morgan Stanley's investment banking division, focusing on Mergers & Acqusitions (M&A).

Michael's impressive accolades extend to the BLK's competitions, where he secured first place in two prior events. Now, as the leader of our executive pitch team, he's eager to guide BLK Capital management to success at the national level.
