Richard Casimir

Head of Programming

Richard, from Port-au-Prince, Haiti, is a sophomore at Boston University pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Information Systems. Currently, Richard is working as a social impact intern with Innovate@BU, a program that gives students an opportunity to work at a non-profit organization and take the business skills learnt to create your own social impact or non-profit organization.

Outside of his responsibilities at BLK Capital Management, Richard is also a financial literacy advocate where he conducts research to educate the black community about personal finance, mental illnesses, and family relationships to promote financial wellbeing and economic empowerment in the Boston area. Richard is also an Event Coordinator at Brothers United, an organization that provides black men mentorship and support by creating a home away from home. In his free time, Richard enjoys spending time with family and friends as well as exploring.
