Maxine Ezenwa
Alumni Relations Officer
Maxine, from Houston, Texas, is a final year student at Texas State University pursuing a concentration in Health Science and a minor in Biochemistry and Business Administration. Currently, Maxine is working as a Sales & Trading Analyst at Wells Fargo during the summer of 2024. Previously, Maxine worked as a Trading and Investing Intern at PEAK6 in the summer of 2023.
Outside of her responsibilities at BLK, Maxine is the Founder and Head of Trading of her own club that she created at Texas State University titled “Black Women in Markets,” where she teaches Black women about the importance of investing. In addition to being a Founder, Maxine serves as the Women Coordinator at Financial Management Association. As the Woman Coordinator, Maxine bridges the gap for other women wanting to pursue a career within the male dominated industry of finance. Maxine also spends some of her time volunteering as a Mentor at the HeadStart Fellowship helping underclassmen learn professional development and acumen to successfully land internships and at the Central Texas Food Bank when she can. In her free time, Maxine enjoys learning about personal finance, traveling, and listening to podcast. Maxine’s favorite thing at the moment is partaking in self care.
